Zürich Vision Meeting 2011
The first Zurich Vision Meeting (ZVM) will take place at ETH on April 19, 2011. The ZVM intends to bring together vision researchers and researchers in related fields. The goal is to build a community of both academic and industrial vision researchers from the Zurich area, but other researchers from elsewhere in Switzerland and beyond are also encouraged to participate. The program will consist of a few invited presentations as well as a poster session. Attendees are encouraged to present posters presenting new or recent results, or industrial activities in the area of vision.
The first Zurich Vision Meeting is shaping up to be a very successful event with over 130 participants registered. Besides a strong attendance from ETH Zurich with more than dozen research groups represented, there are also participants from the University of Zurich, EPF Lausanne, University of Basel, University of Geneva, Vienna University of Technology, KU Leuven, Purdue University and University of Kentucky on the academic side, as well as more than a dozen companies represented (Disney Research Zurich, Google, Qualcomm, Leica Geosystems, Hexagon Technology Center, Leica Microsystems, Viacam, Kooaba, Procedural Inc., Stylight, Awtec, HEIG-VD, Nomad3D).
